17th April 2024: The Academy of Medical Sciences Clinical Academics in Training Annual Conference

The Academy of Medical Sciences held their Clinical Academics in Training Annual Conference (CATAC) in Belfast on Wed 17th April 2024. Working with PPI contributors and the Academy’s Engagement Team, the QUB PPI Network co-developed and co-delivered a session at the conference on “Meaningful Patient and Public Involvement throughout the research cycle”. The session received very positive responses from attendees and testimony shared during the session was highlighted during the keynote address, delivered by Dr. Lola Solebo, as a powerful example of why PPIE must be embedded in all aspects of clinical research.
