July 2024: prof. Joe Duffy leads on the development of a 'Specialized Curricular Guide on Service User Involvement in Social Work Education' in the US

Professor Joe Duffy, from the School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work (SSESW), has been commissioned by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) in the United States to lead the research and development of a 'Specialized Curricular Guide on Service User Involvement in Social Work Education'.  

The commissioning of this guide has evolved directly from a US-UK Fulbright programme of research undertaken by Joe in 2018-2019 which evidenced the positive impact of service user involvement in the universities where the research was piloted.
